Budget Item

The budget consists of planned items – planned revenues and expenditures


In addition to the expected amount of the item, we can define an interval within which the expenditure or revenue should fall.

Due Date

If the exact due date is not known or there are multiple due dates, for expenditures we enter the earliest, and for revenues, the latest.

Items Utilizing the Budget

Expenses / revenues that correspond to the budget item.

Budgeted Items

A budgeted item is a record (e.g., tasks, projects, contracts) that generates revenue or expenditure corresponding to the budget item.
Multiple records can share one budget item.


An item can consist of sub-items. The amounts of the main item are then the sum of the amounts of the sub-items.

Budget Item in a task pattern

Budget items can be defined for a Task Pattern. Budget items in a task pattern are not part of any budget. These are templates for task budget items that are created from the task pattern. The task's budget item should be included in the corresponding budget.
