Rules for external messages
For each gateway for emails or messages from web forms, the administrator can assign rules for sorting messages, for automatic replies, and for setting the properties of outgoing messages.
(Main Toolbar / Administration /
System Settings / SYS connectors /
Rules button)

Rule Types

Rules for Incoming Messages
- Junk Mail
- New Incoming Messages Sort
- Auto Replies
Rules for Outgoing Messages
- Slot Rules
- Rules for outgoing messages
Rules Usage
- Rules are assigned to a gateway. A rule can be used by multiple gateways.
- At a gateway, the rules have the order in which they are evaluated (drag & drop).
- If a rule of the type "stop rules" is met, the rules that are next in the order are no longer evaluated.

In the example shown in the picture, all the rules for automatic reply are of the type "stop rules".
If the incoming mail does not meet the conditions "Auto Reply for VIP", the system continues to "Reply to Query".
If the conditions for "Reply to Query" are met, the other two rules are no longer processed and the Auto Reply follows the "Reply to Query" rule.
Conditions in Rules
Conditions can be created separately for parts of messages (sender, recipient, header and body of the message). It is important to know:
- You can write multiple rules on separate lines in each condition. Condition is met if at least one rule in the field applies (this applies regardless of the AND/OR flag setting)
- You can write placeholders in the rule – regardless of whether it is a regular expression or not:
- empty – condition is met if the given part of the message is empty
- !empy – met if the part of the message is not empty
- * (asterisk) – has the same meaning as !empy
Advanced rules for evaluation
The way the rules are evaluated is specified by the rules:
- Keywords / regular expression – If keywords are listed, write words separated by commas or each word on a separate line. Words may not be complete
- And / Or – if you specify multiple conditions in the rule, the rules must be either all or at least one
- Match A/a uppercase and lowercase – if checked, the rules will be evaluated taking into account the letters
- Stop rules – If checked and the rule is successfully evaluated, no other rules in the list will be evaluated. It always applies to rules of one kind. Thus, if, for example, you stop evaluating rules on junk mail, no other junk mail conditions will be evaluated, but the rules for automatic processing of the message (unless there is spam) will be triggered.
Smart Junk Mail Filter
AyMINE contains a smart filter that evaluates mail based on multiple criteria. Unlike manually entered rules, the smart filter works with probability based on the evaluation of all message information (sender's domain, junk words, etc.)
We recommend using the smart junk mail filter on all inputs that are publicly known (typically email addresses listed on the Internet, but also forms on the Internet) and vice versa not using it on addresses that are used for message exchange with suppliers and are not public (e.g. ordering_company...).
