Gateway settings for external messages

Gateways allow the system to communicate with other systems

Communication gateways provide access to various interfaces (email, SMS, web forms, etc.).

Interface documentation

The different interfaces have their own help pages

Overview of settings

The Settings Overview provides configurations for email and VoIP gateways; web services are provided by the web module and are set up on the WEB Connectors page. (Module availability depends on the services used.)

SMTP gateway

In addition to the IMAP gateway described above, AyMINE supports a simpler SMTP gateway for sending notifications and short messages. Its advantage over IMAP is simpler configuration and strictly one-way operation.

Password protection for communication gateways

The system must store passwords to mailboxes, but great care is taken to secure them. Realistically, their multilevel protection is much more secure than passwords stored, for example, in MS Outlook on the user's local computer.

Automatic reply to incoming message

Gateways can send an automatic reply to a message they receive. The auto-response refers to the process that the message entered, regardless of which gateway received it.

To set up a message to be sent

  • Create a message template,
  • Select which process it corresponds to
  • Set the flag that it is an automatic response to an incoming message
  • You select which gateway the acknowledgement should leave through.
