Communication gateways make various interfaces available for communication (messages, phone)
Interfaces for communication
Standard interfaces include support
- IMAP
- SSO / MS Graph (emails MS Outook / Outlook 365)
- VoIP gateway for telephone exchange
- Web gateway for web forms
Configuration overview
The configuration overview shows the configurations of email and VoIP gateways; web services are provided by the web module and set up on the WEB Connectors page. (Module availability depends on the services being used.)
SMTP gateway
In addition to the IMAP gateway described above, AyMINE also supports a simpler SMTP gateway for sending notifications and short messages. Its advantage over IMAP is its simpler configuration and strictly one-way traffic.
Automatic response to incoming messages
Gateways can automatically send a response to a message they receive. Automatic response refers to the process the message has entered, regardless of which gateway it was received by.
To set up the sending of a message, you
- Create a message template,
- Select which process it responds to
- Flag it as an automatic response to an incoming message
- Select which gateway to send the acknowledgement to.
