Files (documents) linked to the object
To the several objects (e.g. tasks, decisions, information, etc.) could be linked files. These files are stored together with object and available everywhere and anyone who has access to the object.
Files are indexed if they allow it. Thanks to that, you can search for them. However, it is possible only with supported format, preferably PDF, Office documents (Libre Office, MS Office). On the other hand images including scanned PDF without OCR recognition are not searchable.
System is not intended to store large files like archives or videos. The size limit is about 10 – 20MB (It may vary depending on the settings for your company.)
What files to insert
Stores with object files that really relates with them. If not, it will waste time of your colleagues that will open it and search.
Do not forget to check the rules given by your company what files to include to the object.
